The cottage is lovely. Very cosy and warm and perfect for Christmas week. We very much appreciated the Christmas tree. The cottage is very close to parking, making it very convenient. We have stayed in Fowey many times and found this to be one of our best stays. Fowey, as ever, was great and we enjoyed good walks and great meals out. Thank you, Louise. We will be back!

Our scenic and very comfortable stay at Riverside was complimented by lovely comfy beds and beautiful bedding, a super kitchen and tasteful decor of quality. We went in November so our surroundings were peaceful, parking was easy and the Fowey restaurants and pubs were easy to book. The basement and outside hose made looking after and keeping clean the lovely cottage, our dog and walking gear very straightforward. We had a really fab stay and would happily make a return visit.

A characterful cottage in a fabulous position overlooking the water. Easy walking into the centre of town and close to parking. Beautiful bedding, comfortable beds and fluffy towels in a tastefully decorated house which was immaculately clean. Would recommend….we had a lovely stay and Louise was very helpful with recommendations.

Loved this property so much that we tried to extend our stay and forgo our last two nights in London! We looked at a dozen Cornwall towns and properties, and we’re glad we landed on Louise’s home in Fowey. This was a dreamy stay, comfortable, cozy and chic. The beds and bedding felt luxurious, as did the entire home. Louise was very responsive and helpful as well. Stop debating and book this one!

Great situation, close to car parking and all town amenities, but with a really tranquil feel and lovely views down river. The balcony is a perfect spot to watch the world go by, with herons, swans and cormorants coexisting with paddle boarders, rowing boats and a local car ferry. Louise was a very welcoming host and the house was really comfortable and spotlessly clean; beds especially were very comfy! Kayaking up river (Fowey River Hire) from the neighbouring launch was magical and highly recommended. We round definitely return!

We had such a wonderful family stay in this beautiful Fowey house. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short stroll from the shops and cafes. It felt like we were right in the heart of everything, which was great with kids. The house itself was a true home away from home. It was spotless and the decor was lovely and inviting. The living room was so cosy for relaxing in the evenings, and the kitchen was well equipped - we had everything we needed to cook family meals. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and we all slept well after busy days exploring. Overall, we can’t recommend this house highly enough. It was a perfect base for our Cornish family holiday, and we'd love to come back again! Thank you for a truly memorable stay.

Beautifully clean on arrival. The house is fantastic! Beds are super comfy and we love watching the hustle and bustle on the water. We hope to be back soon!

A lovely property, homely and comfortable, extremely well equipped, exactly as seen in the photographs. Fowey is a beautiful Cornish town. The house is in a great position, including for parking. Louise’s communication is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and location.

As described in the listing, great location, well furnished, very convenient for parking and supported by a great host. The interior design was very tasteful. Very comfy beds. All in all we had a fantastic holiday at Riverside and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

What a beautiful house and view! I loved feeding the swans and ducks. This is out 4th time in Fowey and this by far has been the best house we stayed in. Beigg bff so close to the water is so relaxing. We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather so could sit and watch the world float by. I could happily move in full time!!! Wonderful, comfy, cozy, well equipped house! Loved it!

Truly a beautiful house in beautiful Fowey. We have stayed in Fowey before but Louise’s gorgeous views just made this stay even more special. The house was spotless, had everything you needed and beds were super comfy and so lovely to wake up the gorgeous views.

We had a lovely stay with our children. The house is incredibly well equipped, great views and very comfortable beds. Very convenient location, very close to the car parks and restaurants. If there was a negative it would be that the ferry was nosier than we expected. The host is great and extremely responsive.

Riverside is a real treat. Relaxing, beautiful and pristine and Louise was a delight and very responsive to our questions and needs. Some of the most comfortable beds we have experienced on our many travels! Although short, we loved our stay in Fowey and its unique layout. So many nooks and crannies to discover and explore. Highly recommended.

Lovely house, right on the water and very easy walking distance to the rest of the town.

An amazing place to stay! We just loved sitting out in the decking and watching all of the river activities. Some great restaurants in Fowey, Sam’s, Sunny Spice and a pizza place. We got a weeks parking in Caffa Mill for £15.80.

What a lovely cottage, views amazing! 1st night here, went to Sams, fish amazing, so fresh, a great funky place to eat, lovely people! Lanhydrock country house and gardens are a joy and lots to do there! Also Gardens of Heligan are superb, so colourful! Sunny Spice is fantastic, so too is the Crown Inn a mile or so away. We go home a stone heavier, a smile on our faces and very happy to come back to this very special home in Fowey.

What a lively stay at Riverside. All the things I appreciate, it smells amazing, great bedding and large towels. Fowey is really a magical place. I recommend walking up to St Catherine’s Castle for amazing views. Thank you!

A comfortable house with great views over the River Fowey. Louise was a responsive and thoughtful host. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and local beaches made this a lovely family holiday.

We had a lovely week at Riverside cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented, extremely clean and had lovely views. There are lovely walks nearby and it’s a five minute stroll to the centre of Fowey. A lovely relaxing retreat where you can sit and watch the river activities. Thank you.

What an incredible house this is! We’ve only been here two days - what a shame- but we have loved every minute of it. Immaculatey clean, tidy and with all the necessities provided. We shall be back!

Fabulous location, easy parking nearby. Beautiful cottage, Done up to a very high standard with wonderful views over the Estuary. Easy walk into Fowey with some lovely shops and restaurants to explore, and some great pubs overlooking the harbour. Took the last ferry of the season over to Mevagissy and were blessed with some beautiful dolphins on the return journey. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had an amazing time at Riverside – would highly recommend and would definitely come back – thanks Louise for a wonderful stay!

❤️ Thank you ❤️ A glorious spot by the river. Fowey is a beautiful, bustling, energetic place. The waters are so clean and brightly coloured, compared to murk in Sussex! We loved the house, beautiful beams, great vintage kitchen table and everything you could think of to make our stay comfortable. The showers were fantastic too. It struck me that the wonderful thing here is that is is a suitable place for families of all ages and our 19 year old twins were so happy crabbingfrom the terrace as they would have been as children. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

We had a great time staying here really enjoyed watching the river activity from the balcony including the ferry a Heron and swans who visited regularly and the fishing boats. Also really enjoyed lots of activities in Fowey - kayaking down the river was great as was a walk to Lantic Bay and lots of swimming and eating the tapas place Sams the luggage in Polruan and Buffala to name a few. Thanks very much for the amazing stay in such a nice house !

We’ve had a wonderful week in Fowey! The house was perfect for us - the crabbing and boat watching has been top entertainment for our kids! Highlights have been kayaking to Golant, seafari - we spotted lots of dolphins!, Readymoney Beach, Hall walk, swimming and jumping in from Café Mill boat ramp. We didn’t use our car once in a week. Thanks to Louise for being a great host!

A fabulous location for exploring from or simply to watch the activity on the river would highly recommend a visit to Sams and Buffalo pizza yum.

We have just enjoyed the most fantastic week in your delightful Cottage. Everything we needed was just a short walk away. Jill even managed to launch her paddle board from the balcony!

First time at Riverside but we’ve been visiting Fowey for a number of years! The house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy wonderful Fowey! The Hall Walk (one of our faves) is just a quick hop across the river via the ferry. Loads of great food locally - Sams is definitely worth a visit either in town or walk to Polkerris and visit Sams on the beach. Wish we could stay longer!
